The Masters Golf Tournament held at Augusta National is so challenging and very competitive that very few golfers were able to win the title with the addition to the traditional Green Jacket several times. Although many tried their luck in this exclusive and world class golf course, o9nly few made it to the top.

The Top 5 Masters Champions include Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, and Gary Player.

Nicklaus won the Masters’ prestigious title for six times during 1963, 1965, 1966. 1972, 1975 and 1986. He is also the oldest to win the Masters Championship. Meanwhile, woods earned for himself four Masters victory and went down golf history as the youngest champion back in 1967. Palmer is also another excellent golfer who won The Masters four times in 1958, 1960, 1962, and 1964. On the other hand, Snead known as Slammin’ Sam is a three-time winner of the Masters who was champion in 1961, 1974, and 1978. Moreover, he which became the first non-American to win the Masters Golf Tournament.

However, there are also lots of golf’s grates players who didn’t got a Masters title. Needless to say, they had showcased and had proven themselves in the field of golf in other major tournaments.

Meanwhile, Nick Price won the British Open once and PGA Championship twice. He won fifth place in the Masters and finished at sixth place three times too. Then we also have Hale Ervin who won the US Open Championship three times and finished in Top 10 seven times in The Masters.

These are just some of the world’s best golfers who had proven themselves in the field of golf. They are winners in their own right even though they didn’t quite make it big in The Masters.
